Service Description

Communication difficulties are common within the Care Sector. Losing the ability to speak or understand is both frightening and frustrating. This book has been created as a solution for people within the Care Sector with communication challenges; it will help them connect with the world around them. The Book is divided into 4 sections: Getting Dressed, Daily Routine, Food and Drink and Medical. Each section contains images of common scenarios. There is a tick and cross on the left page of each section to enable the user to express Yes or No to a question. At the back of the book there is a section with reusable labels, to enable you to put a word under each image. We have also included a translation for 8 different European languages. There are also a couple of white boards to personalise messages including an alphabet and number board.
